In July 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Collections, which included the work 'The Glorious First Of June'; 'The Battle Of St. Vincent' by Harold Wyllie. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 446.25 (€ 523.32), 49% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Harold Wyllie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Panorama of Portsmouth Harbour With A Battleship Getting-Up Steam And Preparing To Leave The Quayside in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,627.41).

Im Juli 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'The Glorious First Of June'; 'The Battle Of St. Vincent' von Harold Wyllie zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 446,25 (€ 523,32) und damit 49% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Harold Wyllie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Panorama of Portsmouth Harbour With A Battleship Getting-Up Steam And Preparing To Leave The Quayside im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.627,41).
