Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work A River Apart (In 8 Parts) by Hao Liang. The price achieved of HKD 3,750,000.00 (€ 426,859.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hao Liang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poison Buddha 2 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A River Apart (In 8 Parts) von Hao Liang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.750.000,00 (€ 426.859,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 3.000.000,00 – 5.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hao Liang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48).
