Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Hao Liang was sold in the Inkprovise - Modern & Contemporary Ink Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 826,000.00 (€ 93,061.27) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hao Liang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poison Buddha 2 in July 2020 with an auction result of HKD 16,975,000.00 (€ 1,859,839.48).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Hao Liang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Inkprovise - Modern & Contemporary Ink Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 826.000,00 (€ 93.061,27) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hao Liang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poison Buddha 2 im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.975.000,00 (€ 1.859.839,48).
