Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Norwegian fra Balestrand (View From Balestrand) by Hans Fredrik Gude was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,800.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Fredrik Gude achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Morning By The Coast in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 108,290.00 (€ 153,378.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Norwegian fra Balestrand (View From Balestrand) von Hans Fredrik Gude kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.800,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Fredrik Gude erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Morning By The Coast im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.290,00 (€ 153.378,60).
