Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Norwegian landskap (Landscape) by Hans Fredrik Gude. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 30,402.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hans Fredrik Gude have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning By The Coast in December 2003 with an auction result of GBP 108,290.00 (€ 153,378.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Norwegian landskap (Landscape) von Hans Fredrik Gude zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 30.402,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Fredrik Gude auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Morning By The Coast im Dezember 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 108.290,00 (€ 153.378,60).
