Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Norwegian a Lakeside Landscape by Hans Fredrik Gude. It changed hands for a price of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 60,671.00) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Fredrik Gude - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Morning By The Coast, which sold at auction in December 2003 for GBP 108,290.00 (€ 153,378.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Norwegian a Lakeside Landscape von Hans Fredrik Gude zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 60.671,00) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Fredrik Gude mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Morning By The Coast beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für GBP 108.290,00 (€ 153.378,60) versteigert wurde.
