Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hans Feibusch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2006. In the British and Continental Pictures and Prints auction, the work The Guardian Angel; A Centor And His Maiden; Poseidon And The Sea Nymph; And The Thinker sold for GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,751.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Feibusch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boot, trockengelegt., which sold at auction in November 2015 for EUR 6,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Feibusch erzielte im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Prints wurde die Arbeit The Guardian Angel; A Centor And His Maiden; Poseidon And The Sea Nymph; And The Thinker für GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.751,61) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Feibusch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Boot, trockengelegt. beobachtet, die im November 2015 für EUR 6.250,00 versteigert wurde.
