It achieved a price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,562.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Burgkmair the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zwei Darstellungen des Heiligen Ulrich von Augsburg, um 1505/08. in September 2010 with an auction result of CHF 120,000.00 (€ 89,949.27).

Die Arbeit Marx Treitzsaurwein, Der Weisskunig (The History Of Emperor Maximilian I And His Ancestors) (Cf. Hollstein 431-541) von Hans Burgkmair the Elder kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.562,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Burgkmair the Elder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zwei Darstellungen des Heiligen Ulrich von Augsburg, um 1505/08. im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 120.000,00 (€ 89.949,27).
