Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2021 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur, which included this untitled work by Hanne Darboven. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,500.00 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hanne Darboven achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work „Konstruktionen“. in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 93,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hanne Darboven zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.500,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hanne Darboven erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit „Konstruktionen“. im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 93.750,00.
