Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work September by Hannah Starkey for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,813.61). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Hannah Starkey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,357.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit September von Hannah Starkey für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.813,61) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Starkey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.357,41).
