Sold at the lower estimate price
In November 2008 Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work November by Hannah Starkey. The result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,022.69) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Hannah Starkey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 15,600.00 (€ 12,357.41).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2008 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit November von Hannah Starkey zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.022,69) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Starkey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, February, August, October, 1998-1999 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.600,00 (€ 12.357,41).
