The work The Afternoon by Hang Chunhui was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in April 2014. It achieved a price of CNY 162,500.00 (€ 18,745.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hang Chunhui - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Missa No. 1, which sold at auction in November 2013 for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 41,479.86).

Die Arbeit The Afternoon von Hang Chunhui kam im April 2014 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 162.500,00 (€ 18.745,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Hang Chunhui mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Missa No. 1 beobachtet, die im November 2013 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 41.479,86) versteigert wurde.
