Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kingdom of Milk No. 19 by Han Yajuan was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,038.58) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Han Yajuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tribute To Marilyn in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 38,900.00 (€ 50,879.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kingdom of Milk No. 19 von Han Yajuan kam im April 2011 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.038,58) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Han Yajuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tribute To Marilyn im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.900,00 (€ 50.879,67).
