Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Woman with Cats by Hamed Nada was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 23,040.00 (€ 26,698.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hamed Nada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Woman with Cats von Hamed Nada wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.040,00 (€ 26.698,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hamed Nada erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
