Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hamed Nada achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in November last year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale auction, the work The Bagpipes sold for GBP 69,600.00 (€ 80,650.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hamed Nada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hamed Nada erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale wurde die Arbeit The Bagpipes für GBP 69.600,00 (€ 80.650,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamed Nada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
