Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Al Abour (The Crossing) by Hamed Nada was auctioned at Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year. It achieved a price of GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Hamed Nada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Al Abour (The Crossing) von Hamed Nada kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamed Nada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
