Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In The Shadow Of The Sphinx by Hamed Nada was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 16,500.00 (€ 19,226.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hamed Nada achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In The Shadow Of The Sphinx von Hamed Nada wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert.
