Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Egyptianuntitled by Hamed Nada. The price achieved of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 49,336.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hamed Nada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled von Hamed Nada zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 43.750,00 (€ 49.336,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamed Nada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
