Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptianuntitled (Fishing Boats) by Hamed Nada was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 56,944.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hamed Nada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled (Fishing Boats) von Hamed Nada kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 56.944,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamed Nada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
