Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Brass Music by Hamed Nada was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in London in November 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 97,679.53) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Hamed Nada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Henna Eve in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 452,939.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Brass Music von Hamed Nada wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 97.679,53) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamed Nada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Henna Eve im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 452.939,41).
