In May 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Muma by Hai Bo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,590.92), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hai Bo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Muma von Hai Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.590,92) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hai Bo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
