Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hai Bo could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Boy On Bike (In Three Parts) changed hands for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 1,740.86) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 40,000.00 – 55,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hai Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
