Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work The public accomplishment by Hafidh al-Droubi for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 35,631.12). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Hafidh al-Droubi have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2021 by the work Kadhimain Alley at GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,639.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The public accomplishment von Hafidh al-Droubi für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 35.631,12) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Hafidh al-Droubi wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2021 die Arbeit Kadhimain Alley mit GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.639,94).
