Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Paris held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art, which included the work Landscape Scene by Hafidh al-Droubi. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,600.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hafidh al-Droubi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kadhimain Alley in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,639.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Scene von Hafidh al-Droubi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.600,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hafidh al-Droubi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kadhimain Alley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.639,94).
