Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hafidh al-Droubi was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in Dubai in May this year. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 15,374.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hafidh al-Droubi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kadhimain Alley in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 52,500.00 (€ 61,639.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hafidh al-Droubi wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.380,00 (€ 15.374,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hafidh al-Droubi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kadhimain Alley im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 52.500,00 (€ 61.639,94).
