The work Constelación Y Hábitat Hidroespacial by Gyula Kosice was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,263.50), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gyula Kosice - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Televisor Hidraulizado 2, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 73,000.00 (€ 49,700.44).

Die Arbeit Constelación Y Hábitat Hidroespacial von Gyula Kosice wurde im Mai 2008 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 23.750,00 (€ 15.263,50) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gyula Kosice mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Televisor Hidraulizado 2 beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 73.000,00 (€ 49.700,44) versteigert wurde.
