Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Guy Bourdin's Archive, c. 1970s by Guy Bourdin was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,565.22). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Bourdin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Vogue, March 1972 in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 57,427.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Guy Bourdin's Archive, c. 1970s von Guy Bourdin wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.565,22) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Guy Bourdin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French Vogue, March 1972 im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 57.427,02).
