Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tête de Lion by Gustav Wertheimer was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 840.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Wertheimer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Repos Du Guerrier in June 2012 with an auction result of EUR 14,801.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tête de Lion von Gustav Wertheimer kam im Juni 2005 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 840,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Wertheimer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Repos Du Guerrier im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.801,00.
