Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Derniers Fruits Premières Fleurs by Gustave Van de Woestyne was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2015. It changed hands for a price of EUR 97,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gustave Van de Woestyne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Valerius De Saedeleer in November 2012 with an auction result of EUR 481,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Derniers Fruits Premières Fleurs von Gustave Van de Woestyne kam im Dezember 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 97.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 70.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Van de Woestyne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of Valerius De Saedeleer im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 481.000,00.
