Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art, which included the work White Shoulders by Gustave Jacquet. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,558.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Jacquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Shoulders von Gustave Jacquet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.558,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
