It achieved a price of USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,931.84), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Jacquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).

(30.5 x 24.5 cm) framed 20 x 17 1/2 x 2 3/4 in. von Gustave Jacquet wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion European Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.931,84) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
