In February 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Erotic: Passion & Desire Online, which included the work Young Beauty With Flowers by Gustave Jacquet. The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,499.60) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Jacquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Erotic: Passion & Desire Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Beauty With Flowers von Gustave Jacquet zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.499,60) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
