Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work Portrait Of An Artist by Gustave Jacquet. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,416.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Jacquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of An Artist von Gustave Jacquet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.416,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
