Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Yellow Dress by Gustave Jacquet was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 35,899.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gustave Jacquet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Yellow Dress von Gustave Jacquet kam im Juni 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 35.899,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
