Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French Dame Au Chapeau by Gustave Jacquet was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2014. The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,044.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Jacquet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Bienvenue in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 375,000.00 (€ 315,179.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French Dame Au Chapeau von Gustave Jacquet kam im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.044,35) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Jacquet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Bienvenue im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 375.000,00 (€ 315.179,02).
