The work An evening onshore by Gustave Alaux was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,947.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Admittedly, works by Gustave Alaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.

Die Arbeit An evening onshore von Gustave Alaux kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.947,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gustave Alaux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
