Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Flibustier Sentimental ; Flibustiers Au Cabaret by Gustave Alaux was sold in the Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2007. The price achieved of EUR 3,600.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustave Alaux - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Flibustier Sentimental ; Flibustiers Au Cabaret von Gustave Alaux wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Drawings and Paintings bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.600,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustave Alaux mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert wurde.
