Here, the upper estimate of EUR 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 805.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Alaux achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.

Die Arbeit Tourville Sur Le Soleil Royal À La Bataille De Barfleur von Gustave Alaux kam im Februar 2011 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 805,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Alaux erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danse Au Bord De La Mer ; Promenade Du Soir im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
