Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Œuvres sur Papier, which included the work The Irony Of Salome by Gustav Adolf Mossa. The price achieved of EUR 15,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustav Adolf Mossa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Baiser D'Hélène, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 43,550.85).
