Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Resurrection by Gustav Adolf Mossa was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2019. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 13,724.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustav Adolf Mossa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Baiser D'Hélène, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 60,000.00 (€ 43,550.85).
