In June 2015 Christies in London held the auction Posters, which included the work ANTI IMPERIALIST EXHIBITION by Gustav Klutsis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,750.00 (€ 19,387.33), 72% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Gustav Klutsis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot LONG LIVE THE USSR sold at auction in June 2015 with the realized price of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 21,149.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit ANTI IMPERIALIST EXHIBITION von Gustav Klutsis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 19.387,33) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Gustav Klutsis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit LONG LIVE THE USSR im Juni 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 21.149,81).
