Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glory to the great national poet Pushkin! by Gustav Klutsis was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 8,925.00 (€ 10,478.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustav Klutsis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work LONG LIVE THE USSR, which sold at auction in June 2015 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 21,149.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Glory to the great national poet Pushkin! von Gustav Klutsis kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.925,00 (€ 10.478,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustav Klutsis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit LONG LIVE THE USSR beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 21.149,81) versteigert wurde.
