Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Radio Orator 11 x 9 in. (27.9 x 22.9 cm) unframed by Gustav Klutsis was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 938.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustav Klutsis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work LONG LIVE THE USSR in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 21,149.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Radio Orator 11 x 9 in. (27.9 x 22.9 cm) unframed von Gustav Klutsis kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 938,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustav Klutsis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit LONG LIVE THE USSR im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 21.149,81).
