Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Snowy Mountains By The River by Guo Weiqu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guo Weiqu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baskets Of Harvest, which sold at auction in October 2019 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,859.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Snowy Mountains By The River von Guo Weiqu kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Guo Weiqu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baskets Of Harvest beobachtet, die im Oktober 2019 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.859,70) versteigert wurde.
