Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers And Rocks by Guo Weiqu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 35,400.00 (€ 3,896.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Guo Weiqu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baskets Of Harvest in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,859.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers And Rocks von Guo Weiqu kam im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 35.400,00 (€ 3.896,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Guo Weiqu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baskets Of Harvest im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.859,70).
