A top price for Guo Weiqu
In October 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Baskets Of Harvest by Guo Weiqu. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,859.70), 67% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Baskets Of Harvest the most expensive artwork by Guo Weiqu that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Oktober 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baskets Of Harvest von Guo Weiqu zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.859,70) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Baskets Of Harvest zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Guo Weiqu, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
