Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Pojke med cylinder (Boy in a top hat) by Gunnar Löberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 25,000.00 (€ 2,887.30). Admittedly, works by Gunnar Löberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Stilleben med pingvin" in October 2015 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 27,714.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Pojke med cylinder (Boy in a top hat) von Gunnar Löberg im Oktober 2013 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 25.000,00 (€ 2.887,30) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gunnar Löberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Stilleben med pingvin" im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 27.714,18).
