The result of SEK 100,000.00 (€ 9,426.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gunnar Löberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Stilleben med pingvin", which sold at auction in October 2015 for SEK 260,000.00 (€ 27,714.18).

Die Arbeit "Clownernas avfärd från New York" von Gunnar Löberg kam im Mai 2019 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 100.000,00 (€ 9.426,85) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Löberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Stilleben med pingvin" beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für SEK 260.000,00 (€ 27.714,18) versteigert wurde.
