Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Figure in landscape by Gunnar Löberg was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,541.68). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gunnar Löberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Stilleben med pingvin" in October 2015 with an auction result of SEK 260,000.00 (€ 27,714.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Figure in landscape von Gunnar Löberg im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.541,68) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gunnar Löberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Stilleben med pingvin" im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 27.714,18).
