Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Gulam Rasool Santosh was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,333.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gulam Rasool Santosh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 108,151.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gulam Rasool Santosh kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.333,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gulam Rasool Santosh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 108.151,27).
